The rooms at Hotel Continentale are absolutely fantastic! They have been recently renovated, and you can really feel the comfort and coziness. The bathroom is well-equipped, and the air conditioning keeps us cool during the hot days in Rome. With the TV and free Wi-Fi, we never felt disconnected. It's perfect for our family vacations and weekend getaways.
Honestly, I found the heating in the room a bit too warm for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes walk from Termini station and about 2 minutes from the Castro Pretorio stop that links in just 10 minutes to the Colisseo. The staff was very friendly, even though we did not meet people who spoke Spanish, we managed to understand each other half in English, half in Italian . On the other hand, the bed was very comfortable, something great when you spend all day seeing things from one day to another. It has a free safe and luggage storage. It has an elevator that although it's small, is very useful when you go with suitcases and you save yourself going up all the stairs.
Unfortunately and to my surprise not everything was as I expected, I entered the room I was disappointed, as it was very different from some photos I had seen on the Internet, it was small, bathroom had nothing to do with reality (although it was clean) was too small and narrow. wifi connection was quite bad, it barely worked in the 5 days we were there and we couldn't connect more than 2 devices at the same time. breakfast seemed to me excessively expensive ( 6 euros per day and person ) for what it really is, continental breakfast yes, very little varied, bottled juice was orange and it didn't even taste like orange. They could improve the quality as it was poor. In front of the hotel there was a restaurant/pub that is very annoying. Although my room was at the back of the hotel, hotel has an inner courtyard where they throw their glass waste, every night at 00h and noise they make when throwing the bottles bothers those of us who fell asleep early, it even woke us up, basically because they did it carelessly. For a two-star hotel with so few services and luxuries, truth is that it is quite an expensive hotel.

Location was great if travelling by train, a little walk to see the sights though. Hotel was clean and nice but very simple. Breakfast was fine.

Location near to Termini Station, provided you exit Termini on Via Marsala!
Note that website says it has an elevator - it does but you need to walk up approx 15 steps to get to the level where reception & the elevator is located. Overall good value for a Rome hotel

Convenient location! Only a short walk to the train station and nearby subway stations, making it easy to explore the city. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. , the staff offered friendly and helpful service throughout our stay.
The blanket provided was thin and not warm enough to keep us comfortable at night. there was noise from a nearby bar and restaurant, which could be bothersome at times.

We really liked this hotel--the reception and hallways did not look so attractive when we first got there, but our room turned out to be very nice--recently renovated, quite spacious, with nice furniture and a modern bathroom. The location is quite good too, 7 min. Walk from Roma Termini train station and metro stop. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
It would be nice if breakfast was included in the room rate and didn't come at extra cost.

Great location, secure and peaceful surroundings. Clean room, helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast choices, including sweet pastries and cereals. Good value for money, despite some unrealistic photos and descriptions.

The proximity of the Continentale to the Roma Termini is definitely something to consider when you have to carry your luggages. Very clean, good smell in the room, Staff likable. Good rate.
Mattresses definitely need to be changed. We had to put a blanket underneath the linen to less feel the springs! No hot water one morning.

The hotel is in the best location to visit rome. The hotel is two blocks from the metro and three blocks from the train station. The location of this hotel gave you rome at your finger tips. Breakfast was european and good. The room was simple but clean. The staff was very help full.
Nothing to get upset about. I got what I wanted.

You can literally walk to all the cool places in Rome like the Trevi Fountain, the Opera House, and the awesome shops in Monti. And if you're into churches, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore is just a few steps away. It's perfect for young people who love exploring and don't want to waste time on transportation.
The only thing that could've been better is if the hotel had some kind of party vibe. Like, it's great for sightseeing and stuff, but for us teenagers who like to have a little fun, it would've been awesome if there was a bar or something where we could hang out and meet people our age.
